Coarse Fishery Rules

  • All nets must be of a Knotless & Fish Friendly type
  • All nets MUST be dipped in Antiseptic Dip provided before and after fishing
  • A landing net must be used at all times
  • Separate keepnets must be used for SILVER FISH & CARP
  • Maximum weight of fish per Keepnet 30lbs
  • Fish are not to be held in keepnets for longer than 6 hours
  • No tinned baits allows on the bank side
  • Tinned baits are to decanted into bait boxes and the tins disposed of safely
  • Barbless hooks only
  • No fish to be handled in rags or placed on hard surfaces
  • No fish to be moved from pool to pool or removed from the fishery

Bait Bans

  • Liquidised meat baits
  • Bloodworm
  • Joker
  • Spinning

General Rules

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
  • An adult must accompany children at all times
  • Toilets are provided for your convenience – located in the main building
  • Visitors are not permitted to roam, and must stay within 10 metres of the waterside
  • The management reserve the right to refuse admission and to change the rules at any time.
