The Broom Fishery complex has received many accolades over the years, including TV coverage and placement amongst the top ten UK fisheries - and not without reason. Here you can fish dedicated fly fishing lochs, well stocked with rainbow, golden, brown, blue, and tiger trout, weighing from 2 lbs to over 20 lbs.

All of the fish in these waters are high grade stock, which means they are extremely fit, strong and tasty. You'll never forget the first time you hooked a fish at the Broom!

You can top up your own tackle box with a visit to our well stocked tackle shop and you can relax in the refreshment area, have a cup of coffee and chat with fellow anglers about your day. Someone is always on hand to offer expert help to beginners and seasoned anglers. Professional fly casting tuition is also available.

Choose how many fish you want to take home with you, and when you have caught your bag you can continue fishing for the rest of the day (catch and release - using barbless or debarbed hooks.), or you can simply choose to fish all day on the catch and release basis.

A day ticket here really does give you a full days fishing.

The fishery is open from 8:00 am until dusk every day from 1st Feb until 31st Oct
(closed on Tuesdays between 1st Nov and 31st Jan)
