matches for teams of 3 anglers.

dates: Oct 5th - Oct 19th - Nov 2nd - Nov 16th
– Nov 30th - Dec 14th

Note: If you would
like to fish in the competition but do not have a team, please sign the Find a
Team sheet in the cafe, call us, or send us an e-mail and we will try to find a team for you to join.
Rules and format:
Standard
Broom Fishery rules apply.
Each
team will consist of 3 anglers. All teams must be registered prior to the
commencement of the first match of the series.
Each
competition will be split into three sections, with one member of each team
fishing in each section.
Peg
Draw will be at 9:15 am – fishing period will be decided on each day depending
on daylight availability.
Points
will be awarded for positions in each section, and the team with the most points
at the end of the series will win the team prize. In the event of a tie, the
winner will be decided by the total team weight for the series.
Teams
may use a reserve if necessary.
Any
angler registered with a team cannot fish for another team during any part of
the series unless the original team is completely removed from the series
competition.
In
the event of any dispute the decision of the organizer, John Wright, will be
binding.
Fees and prizes:
The
entry fee will be £60 per team, payable on registration. This will go towards
the end of series team prize, which will be a guaranteed minimum of £500.
There
will be a £15 per angler fee at each match (£5 peg fee + £10 pool
contribution). The pool contribution, allocated by the usual percentages, will
be paid to the individual section winners at the end of each match.
